DARMASISWA SCHOLARSHIP ON LANGUAGE, ART AND CULTURE OF INDONESIA, 2018


The Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia is offering scholarships to 3 Kenya citizens at university level to learn Indonesian Language, Art and Culture.  The program is called Darmasiswa Scholarship and will take place for a period of 1 year from August/September 2018.
The Ministry of Education and Culture of Indonesia will cater for tuition fees and provide a monthly stipend of Rp.2,950,000 (approx. USD 219) or  Rp.2,550,000 (approx.USD188) depending on the cities where the student will be staying while the costs of air fare and accommodation will be borne by the students.

Eligibility
1.     KCSE with a mean grade of B
2.     Not more than 35 years of age
3.     Unmarried
Qualified candidates are requested to submit their applications by filling the scholarship preliminary application form available on www.education.go.ke with the following attachments.
       i.          1 page curriculum vitae
      ii.          A certificate of good health
    iii.          A copy of passport information page
   iv.          A recommendation letter from an education/professional institution
     v.          Academic certificate
   vi.          A passport size photo
  vii.          An essay on purpose of study

OFID Scholarship Award for master’s degree studies


The The OPEC Fund for International Development (OFID)  Scholarship Award supports outstanding young individuals from developing countries so that they are able to pursue graduate studies in a development-related field. The program, which is currently in its twelfth year of operation, has to date helped 40 young people complete their education.

Applicants who have obtained or are on the verge of completing their undergraduate degree, and who wish to study for a Master’s degree are welcome to apply for the OFID Scholarship.

OFID scholarships will be awarded to students or candidates for master’s degree studies. Applicants must be from a developing country (except OFID Member Countries), and he/she must first obtain admission to pursue a Master’s degree studies in a relevant field of development, from any recognized university/college in the world

University of East Anglia Kenyan Undergraduate Excellence Scholarship


All students applying from Kenya* for an undergraduate course **  at the University of East Anglia will automatically receive the Kenyan Undergraduate Excellence Scholarship of £2500 per year. 
How to Qualify 
Just by applying to the University of East Anglia (UEA) through UCAS , you qualify for the scholarship, if you receive an offer to study at UEA, you will automatically be awarded the scholarship.

In addition to the scholarship above, applying students are encouraged to apply for UEA’s International Excellence Scholarships worth 25% and 50% of successful applicants' entire tuition fee. Successful applications will replace the Kenyan Undergraduate Excellence Scholarship.
